What a fun time we had at this photo shoot for Robin's Egg Pink. We did this shoot in Port Ewen and I am sure these ladies were thinking "we are going to do pictures where?" It took a little while for the girls to warm up, but I think they would have stayed all night if they could have.

This little guy wasn't in the shoot, but I couldn't resist.

Spring Mini Session at Poet's Walk

I am pleased to announce a date for spring mini sessions. Mini sessions will be held at Poet's Walk in Red Hook. Sessions will be held on May 24th with a rain date of May 31st.

Session is $350 and includes:

15-20 minute outdoor session and in person proofing

10 x 20 mounted storyboard

$200 print credit

Sessions are limited to 2 children. Each additional child is $20. Appointments are required and space is limited. Pre-payment is required to reserve your session. Each session will include an in person proofing session where 5-7 proofs will be shown.

How does a mini session differ from a regular session? Regular sessions are at a location of your choice. You are presented with 25 to 30 proofs. Mini sessions are located at a pre determined location and last 15 to 20 minutes. 5 to 7 proofs will be shown.

What is a print credit? A print credit is money applied toward the purchase of regular prints. This includes desk prints, wall prints and wallets. Print credits cannot be used for storyboards, canvases or other specialty products.

Adventures in transportation-a trip to New York

Traveling with kids is always an adventure. Here is a little bit from our recent adventure to the city.

I had an idea for a really cool shot, so I take the eldest aka the best listener and tell her to stand here. I said to stand still, but i didn't tell her to look like this is the worst day of her life. She did that one all on her own. Anyway, here is the shot. I think it is pretty cool anyway.

I finally got to do a session with the kids next door. Literally. The day co-operated nicely and the children were perfect. I got some great shots of these sweet kids and I have plenty more. Enjoy this little peak.

The sun is out

I think it is finally spring here in New York. We spent most of the day outside today. The kids are so happy to be able to be outside again. I am not sure Emmett even remembers getting to be on the ground outside. He played all morning and even skipped his nap for the warm rays.

Well, I think I have found someone who may have as much train stuff as my son. Maybe. I loved that there was Thomas everywhere. Dad says there is too much Thomas, but I am sure Mr C would beg to differ. Anyway, this session was super fun and turned out to be a beautiful day.

Dancing in Mommy's Boots

It is so close to being spring here in New York. We could even venture outside without any jackets. Ok, maybe not for too long. Linus loves, loves, loves rain boots. He decided he wanted to wear my giant rain boots. He did a little dance in them. It really was super cute. Here's a picture of the finale.

And speaking of spring.... Look what popped up in my yard today.

Today I got to photograph this great little guy. He is having a birthday coming up and he will be four years old. I loved learning about spinning tops and all things round. This session was just so calm and peaceful. I hope they enjoyed it as much as I did.

I have been experimenting with some new products and I want to say, I have found some great stuff! I want to show you all some of the more interesting possibilities. So over the next few weeks, I will be spotlighting several super cool ways you can order your prints. I am really excited about the canvases, so I am going to start with those.
